We regret that this course has been postponed until 2012

Ours is a world in transition. The next 20 years will see profound changes in climate patterns, the global balance of power, the ability of eco-systems to support life, competition for resources and the way we use energy. The future depends on skilful leadership and change agency to bring about more sustainable ways of living on the this planet.
This new course launches at the end of summer 2011 to meet the needs of people in the early stages of their careers with a commitment to eco-leadership and change. If you are asking “What’s next? Where do I put my energy into bringing about a more just and sustainable world?” this participative and experiential course will help you find your unique role.
- A 5-day course for people aged 18 to 30
- 28 August to 2 September 2011, Embercombe, Devon
- Cost: £280
You will be living and learning in a community of like-minded people. Each participant will be supported on their inner journey while being stretched by a wide range of team challenges. You will learn about your own leadership gifts and how to work collaboratively. We will also be laughing and playing.

Embercombe‘s expertise in cultivating transformative inner change while living and working on the land is brought together with The Change‘s track record in delivering practical and authentic leadership to a global community, and is further combined with Isabel Carlisle‘s passion for education in sustainable alternatives. Plus tuition from experts in systems change offers engagement with different action scenarios.
As we make the shift to a more sustainable world we need to work in collaboration, but we are strung out along a very long front. Some people may want to get jobs in Monsanto or government and catalyse change from within. Others will go down the activist and community organising route. The most effective change agents will need the ability to communicate and collaborate across divides and pull together to make the seemingly impossible, possible.
